Young dogs can begin with Sports Foundations, while adult dogs usually start in a beginners class. Not sure? I'll help you choose.

03

Let the fun begin!

Join your class, learn new skills and enjoy working together. No competition ambitions required — just a willingness to have fun!

These skills are great fun at Hoopers classes, but they are also useful when we are out on walks.

Natasja is an excellent trainer. She gives clear instructions and also demonstrates with her own dogs.

All the training is reward-based and there is no pressure on either dogs or handlers.

We are having fun, learning lots in the process and building a stronger bond between us.

FAQS

Good Questions,

Honest Answers.

Anything else on your mind? Just ask, I am happy to help.

Does my dog need previous training experience ?

No previous experience of Hoopers or Rally is needed, but your dog should have some basic foundation training before starting a dog sport.

For younger dogs, our Sports Foundations classes help puppies and adolescents aged approximately 5–18 months develop the skills they'll need. Adult dogs with a good foundation in basic training can usually start in a beginners class.

Not sure whether your dog is ready? Get in touch and I'll help you find the right starting point.

Is my dog too old for dog sports?

Not necessarily. Dogs can enjoy learning new activities at different ages. We'll consider your dog's age, physical abilities and individual needs when helping you choose a suitable activity.

Do we have to compete?

Absolutely not! You can enjoy Hoopers and Rally simply as a fun hobby to share with your dog. If you develop an interest in competing, that's something we can explore too.

Where are your dog sports classes held?

Our regular dog sports classes take place at Milborne St Andrew Sports & Recreation Ground in Dorset, conveniently situated between Dorchester and Blandford Forum. Workshop locations may vary, so check the individual event details.
