Give Your Dog Something Better Than Just A Walk

Give Your Dog Something Better Than Just A Walk

A fun, structured activity that builds focus, confidence, and connection — while giving your dog a real outlet for their energy.

This is perfect for you if your dog:

  • has lots of energy but struggles to channel it.

  • gets bored easily or switches off on walks.

  • loves learning and doing things with you.

  • needs more mental stimulation and focus.

  • enjoys training, but you want something more fun and engaging.

  • Or you’d simply love a hobby you can enjoy together.

If that sounds like your dog, Hoopers gives you a structured, enjoyable way to channel that energy into focus, calmness, and connection.

What Hoopers Will Do for You and Your Dog

  • A dog who can focus — even when things are happening around them.

  • A healthy outlet for energy that actually tired the brain, not just the body.

  • Better off-lead control and responsiveness on walks.

  • A calmer, more connected dog at home.

  • A shared activity you both genuinely enjoy.

If you’re ready to give your dog a proper outlet for their energy and build something you both enjoy, here’s how to get started.

How Hoopers Works

Hoopers is a fun, low-impact activity where your dog learns to navigate a course made up of hoops, tunnels, and barrels — guided by your body language and cues.

In class, we don’t just “run courses”.

We break everything down into simple, achievable steps so both you and your dog understand exactly what to do.

You’ll learn how to:

  • guide your dog clearly using your movement and positioning

  • build focus and engagement before adding difficulty

  • teach each piece of equipment step by step

  • gradually link skills together into flowing sequences

Everything is taught using my Fun | Focus | Play® method — so learning stays enjoyable, rewarding, and pressure-free for both you and your dog.

Most people start with the Beginner Hoopers Class, where you and your dog build the skills, confidence, and understanding needed to enjoy Hoopers properly.

Beginner Hoopers Class

(Your Starting Point)

This is where the journey begins.

Perfect for dogs who are new to Hoopers, this class focuses on building strong foundations through fun, structured training. We break everything down into simple steps so both you and your dog can learn with clarity and confidence.

You’ll start developing:

  • focus and engagement

  • understanding of the equipment

  • early handling skills

  • confidence navigating simple sequences

  • No previous Hoopers experience is needed — and you don’t need to compete to enjoy it.

Improvers Hoopers Class

Once you and your dog have built your foundations, the Improvers class helps you take things further.

You’ll begin working on:

  • full Hoopers courses

  • beginning to introduce distance handling skills

  • developing smoother handling and communication

  • building confidence over longer sequences

  • improving teamwork and flow

This is where your dog really starts to understand the game — and where your skills as a handler grow too.

Advanced Hoopers Class

For teams who are ready to refine and challenge their skills at a higher level.

At this stage, we focus on:

  • advanced distance handling

  • improving precision and flow

  • working more complex and challenging full courses

Whether your goal is to compete or simply enjoy the challenge, this is where everything comes together.

What You Get When You Join Hoopers

This isn’t just about running courses — it’s about building skills, confidence, and a great working partnership with your dog.

When you join Hoopers, you’ll get:

  • Structured, progressive training

You won’t be left guessing what to do next. Each class builds on the last, helping you and your dog develop skills step by step.

  • Small, supportive classes

With limited numbers, every dog and handler gets the space and guidance they need to learn without pressure.

  • A clear progression pathway

From Beginner through to Advanced, you’ll always know where you are and what you’re working towards.

  • Real-life benefits beyond the field

The skills you build in Hoopers carry over into everyday life — improving focus, responsiveness, and connection on walks and at home.

  • A fun, engaging outlet for your dog

This is mental enrichment that actually works. Your dog gets to use their brain, not just burn energy.

  • A welcoming, social environment

You’ll be part of a friendly group of like-minded dog owners, all working towards the same goal — enjoying training with their dogs.

  • The option to progress further (if you want to)

You don’t have to compete — but if you choose to, the pathway is there.

This is about more than just Hoopers — it’s about giving your dog a meaningful outlet and building a connection you both enjoy.
