For over 30 years I have helped dogs and their owners improve their relationships, so living with your dog is something you love rather than something you cope with.

I especially love working with new puppy owners and families with adolescent dogs, the stage where so many people feel they have hit a wall. It is also the stage where the right approach makes the biggest difference.

My dog was so good as a puppy. Why have they stopped listening?

That is adolescence, and it is completely normal. Teenage dogs are growing, curious and easily distracted. With the right games and a clear plan, their focus comes back, and it is one of my favourite stages to help with.

Can you help with a reactive dog?

Yes, we usually start reactivity work with an assessment and 1-2-1 sessions, where we can work at your dog's pace without the pressure of a busy class. Tell me what you are seeing, and we will talk it through.

What are Hoopers and Rally Obedience?

Hoopers is a dog sport where your dog runs through hoops and tunnels and around barrels while you guide them, often from a distance. It is low impact, so it suits young and older dogs. Rally Obedience is a course of signs, each with a short exercise to do together. Both are brilliant for focus and teamwork.

Where and when are classes held?

I offer individual training across Dorset and group classes are held at my main venue at Milborne St Andrew. Get in touch and I will send you current class days and times, or arrange a 1-2-1 that works for you.
