Each Assessment is broken down into 3 distinct steps.
Step 1: Fact Finding
We start by sitting down with you to understand your concerns and expectations. Your insights are invaluable in tailoring our approach to your unique situation. No two dogs are the same, and your dog deserves a customized plan that will guide you towards your goals.
Step 2: Observation
During our assessment, we'll closely observe your dog's reactions and behaviours, allowing me to pinpoint the underlying causes of their reactivity or aggression. As a qualified Behaviourist I am skilled in recognizing the subtle signals that often precede unwanted behaviours. I'll help you understand what's triggering your dog and develop a clearer picture of the root problems.
Your dog's reactivity may stem from fear, past experiences, or other factors. The observation phase is a crucial part of the assessment process, enabling me to create a tailored plan that addresses the unique needs of your dog.
Step 3: Management Recommendations
Once we've gathered essential information about your dog, it's time for the third and final step: offering concrete management recommendations. I'll provide you with a comprehensive plan designed to help your dog cope with their reactive tendencies effectively.
The goal of this initial session is to empower you with the knowledge and strategies needed to manage and improve your dog's behaviour. I'll share insights into effective training techniques and suggest actionable steps that will lead to positive changes in your dog's life. You'll gain a better understanding of how to respond to your dog's reactivity and help them become a happier, more confident companion.
This is your chance to turn the page and start a new chapter in your dog's life. Say goodbye to stress and uncertainty, and welcome a more peaceful future with your beloved pet.
Book your Reactive Dog Assessment today, and let's take the first step toward a happier, more harmonious relationship with your dog.
Once your dog passes the assessment you will be invited to enrole in the Fun Focus Play Class, where we'll cover:
Lead Manners: Say "No" to the pull and unlock the secret to blissful, stress-free jaunts with your dog!
Recalls: Establish a rock-solid recall, granting you the joy of off-leash adventures with unwavering trust.
Self Control: Unleash your dog's inner superhero! Transform instinct into attentive obedience as your dog learns to rely on you for guidance instead of following their primal impulses.
Settling: Cultivating a strong settle at home and beyond, so you can relish social gatherings stress-free with your chilled out canine companion.
Distraction Management: Get your dog laser-focused on you instead of chasing birds, squirrels, or other dogs.
Training Games: Learn to train your dog through interactive games, making the process fun and engaging.
Bonding and Relationship Building: Strengthen your connection with your dog, creating a strong and harmonious partnership.

What Our Customers Are Saying...
Natasja has an Excellent understanding and knowledge of fun, focused dog training.
My Setter is the first puppy I’ve had that I have achieved a good walk with slack lead, and recall with.
I highly recommend Natasja.
- Mrs C LeDuc
Laine is my 4th puppy and many people think that you should know what you are doing when it is your 4th, but you don’t.
She is so calm and confident after both the puppy and junior classes and loves to learn. To have a one year Chessie that stops dead on the whistle retrieves everything and has a recall to die for is a delight.
I can thoroughly recommend training with Natasja because it is fun and dogs love it – I have taken some of the games home to the other dogs, and even my 11-year-old thinks it is fun and is more responsive.”

Beyond being a skilled trainer, I'm also an author, my books "No Pulling Allowed" and "Dogz Thinkz Differentz," unveiling innovative perspectives on training.
What sets me apart is not only my years of experience and knowledge, but the ethos of choice and collaboration that defines my training. Our journey together isn't just about training your pup; it's about fostering a profound bond, understanding, and confidence, allowing you to navigate the complexities of dog ownership seamlessly.
